The counties mailed out the 2011 Truth and Taxation Notices on Novenmber 24th.  The notice estimates the property tax for the following year.  It will also show what the county will be estimating your property at for the next year.    Click the link "Understanding your TNT notice."  if you would like to see an example of what this statement looks like. 

Property owners are invited to attend meetings held by the local units of government to express their opinions on local budgets and taxes.  Click on the link "Truth in Taxation Hearing Dates" to the meeting dates.
