With the snow that we’ve had recently and the New Year’s weather concoction we have on our way, we at the Nordaune Team have noticed many many houses around town struggling with ice dams. While the icicles forming can be spectacular, the damage can also cost you a few thousand dollars in damage. Here are some photo examples from our own town of Rochester of what not to do. In some instances, the ice gets so heavy it warps the gutters! Followed afterwards with some photos of what you should be doing to prevent them from occuring:
